Field Equipment

Vista Media Productions has a wide range of video production equipment that can be used to acquire video for the post-production phases of a project. The following description is a list of the in-house equipment available. Other video equipment can be rented if a project requires items not available in-house.
Camera Equipment: Vista Media uses MII Camcorder Equipment (Betacam SP Quality)for field production - Panasonic WVF-700 or JVC KY-17 (3 CCD cameras) with Panasonic AU-410 or JVC KRM 260 MII Dockable Recorders. The WVF-700 camera provides 750 lines of resolution with a 62 dB signal-to-noise ratio. The MII tape format is a frequency modulated luminance and time compressed multiplexing chrominance recording system that provides a nominal 400 line recording resolution with a 50 dB signal-to-noise ratio.
Glidecam V-20: Hand-held camera stabilization system for smooth motion shots using either the WVF-700 or KY-17 camcorders.
Miscellaneous Field Production Equipment: Lighting kits, teleprompter, reflectors, video switcher, video monitors, camera dolly and tracks, shotgun and wireless microphones to support field production. |
